Well I recieved a little bit of feedback on the idea and for my own personal benefit, I decided that I would do it. Yes, much like becoming one of the many that said they would never join Facebook and did, I now seek to join the legions that feel the need to blog about their lives. Only thing is, it's not going to be much about something like "Oh I went on a trip and this is what I did to keep track of my life as I was getting drunk off my butt since I'm 18 and can't legally drink in the United States!" or "This is the story of my crazy road to getting married!"

| Yeah, I don't plan on this crazy bling. Give me a ring from the local 25 cent machine and I will be a pretty happy girl. |
And no, this is not a personal invite to my boyfriend to pop the question. Thanks to the Facebook, there are already plenty of people asking me if I am engaged. FYI I am not, as much fun as he has telling people that we are engaged.
But back to my main point, as you can probably already tell, I get off topic very very quickly. Okay, that was not my main point, but whatever. This idea really stemmed from my aunt. As I said once before, I'm going to protect the names of the innocent, so you'll get some kind of coolio code name. It wouldn't suprise me if I just decide to use the meaning of your name in some random language.
So I'm going to go with my Aunt Meadow. I mean there can't be that many names that kind of go around that, right? I'm sure I'll come up with something eventually. Whatever, we'll see. So I just had my family Christmas and this is the first year that I've had a Facebook, so I've been a little obsessed with making up statuses on everything that's going on in my life. Sometimes I think this is much to my own annoyance and that of others.
So she's my friend, which keeps me from putting anything too stupid up that will get me in tons of trouble. And she was very cool to comment on some of my stuff, whether it was important or not. And at this family gathering, she told me that my updates were very whitty and I should consider blogging. So I'm going out there and giving it a shot. I can't say that it will be super entertaining, but maybe anyone who comes across it will find my writing style to maybe be something they could look at for more than five seconds.
So thus, I begin my blogging experience! Hopefully I'll keep up with this every few days, maybe more. We'll see how she goes.

| I'm the kind of teacher that is expecting you to actually do something. I'm going to be paid to tell you to do you're work! If not, sorry, bye-bye grade. |
But I can always elaborate on that later. This week in the world of my life it's the glorious soul sucker that is finals week. As I type this over a delicious meal of fried eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and orange juice, I thank the sweet holy Lord for at least getting me through my first final. I probably didn't study as much as I could have, but I plead the 5th. Sure, it probably has nothing to do with anything, but that's the saying when you feel in trouble and I'm sticking to it.
Psychology was the name of the game and my teacher had to be the bomb digity. Much like myself, he gets off topic more often than not and it made for a great learning experience. Sadly, laughing in class about dudes looking like ladies, doesn't help you on the final when everything is very highly vocab based and you were too busy watching Dead Like Me with your little sister to think about a class that you already found easy. But we shall see hopefully by this afternoon.
So my mind begins to flow through other things. As I mentioned earlier, I believe that Math is the devil incarnate. Other than knowing how to count, measure, and other basic math skills, I see it as something that I don't give to flying flips about when it comes to being an art teacher. The excuse I keep hearing though is, "You have to a rounded indivdual". Yeah, maybe if I plan on teaching art in Japan and I have to make sure that I don't offend anyone. Outside of that I'm happy to explore other cultures and new things. I just don't think that their lives float around math in the middle of a war going on in Iraq. But that could be just me, who's to know.
Again with my brain. So, just to get through this class I had to employ the help of a math tutor that another of my aunts knew. It's just too cool when you want to be a teacher and have teachers in the family. You can be connected to the district so much easier. And good Lord is this woman a God send.
Before her, I was floating on the verge of a D.
- This would have killed me inside to get a D on anything. I'm a perfectionist hard core about things like school. I WOULD DIE.
- You need a C or better for any of your core classes to count. I fail and many sad things would happen.
- I would fail a class
- I would have to take the class AGAIN
- My finacial aid would not pay for the class and I would again, have to shell out about $500 for a class I hate and have to pay for the stupid online textbook which set me back about a $200.
Thus, I am so happy to be keeping up with my C/B, depending on the good graces of my math teacher and her crazy grading ways, much to my annoyance and that of my mother who is helping to fund me through school while I continue to be a hobo in this terrible economic state. I use the term hobo loosely. I don't have my own home and I live in my mother's basement. If you knew me, it's cool. If you don't, I sound like a pathetic person and that is completely okay. I don't care, I'm saving money I don't have and you aren't, so HA.
Plus, I get to watch my boyfriend deal with that whole money thing. He works full time and is full of much sadness and back pain. At only 20, I don't think that's a great way to start off, but you do what you have to pay the bills. I can say the same what with my hatred of fast food, yet I have applied to every fast food place in the area of my home and still nothing. So maybe they feel the same about me. The world may never know.
Thus, I will end this as my first attempt at what may turn into a blog post. Drop me a line or if you're on the Facebook, like me. Love me! I just am shaking a stick at this and seeing what happens
