Out the Window

"I've never been so angry-!"

Yeah, that goal that I set for myself to write a blog every single day...insane! It goes to show what a silly person I am. To think I thought I could manage school, a job, and everything else in between and think that I could keep up the long ramblings of a blog. Not so much. I guess due to my complaining, you can see that yes I am still here.
Your next question may be, if you don't have all this time, how are you on here writing today? Well, my dear reader, that is because today is a rare day that I am able to write. I have a break at school at present and only 4 hours of work tonight. I'll be able to get a little bit of sleep even if I push some of my homework back. (Bad! Yes I know, but it's hard to come right back after Spring Break!)
It's not like you missed all that much anyway. I've been working and schooling like I was before I went on a long deep writing sleep. Only difference is, I may be mobile soon. Yes, you heard right. I just might be getting a car. Sure, it's going to be an old lady, but 1992 wasn't that long ago right? And with a deal like 22,000 miles, I'm going for it! I can get a sexy car later on when I actually can afford money myself because the bank won't loan me the 4,000 I need to get it.
Apparently there is some crazy thing about needing to credit before you can get a loan. Yet, you need to get a loan to get credit. To get smaller things to get credit like a credit card, you need credit. Are you seeing the pattern here? It's like the vicious circle of a car and working. Need a car to get to work, need work to get a job. Yes, the world is mean sometimes.
Well apart from that insanity, I've been going on a gaming spree again. I like to think that I'm a function nerd when it comes down to it. I have things that need to be done and after that, I can play as I will. And the same thing is hard to sometimes.
I have a tendency to get obsessed with things, games being one of them. For a while now, I've been playing Okamiden. Some may have heard me mention it. Let me just copy and paste this, so I don't have to ramble too much on it:

Play as Chibiterasu, a young sun god summoned to protect the land. Following in the footsteps of his mother Amaterasu, the sun-god-turned-wolf in Okami, Chibiterasu responds to a summoning by the Konohana Sprite Sakuya by taking the form of a wolf; in his case, an adorable wolf pup. Despite his mother's success against the Dark Lord Yami, which should have killed all the demons in Nippon, they've returned and color is again being leeched from the land.

Chibiterasu will join forces with a rich cast of characters to fight off a new threat. Some of the characters also appeared in Okami, and his closest ally is the child of the hero who helped his mother. Chibiterasu and buddies will come to realize their inner potential and accept the kinship that comes with being the children of great heroes and gods.

If you have no clue what that means, then I'm an even bigger nerd and that's okay. But I've been obsessed and playing it constantly on and off until finally! I have reached close to the end of the game. Let me tell you though they don't make it easy. You fight a series of 4 bosses in the game only to find out that there is a mega boss that is in charge of them. You have to fight them all again in a series of battles before you can even touch the final giant boss. Then you have two battles with the giant boss before you can finally say that you beat that game. It's insane, but I'm going to try and get down to it when I don't have papers to write and my boyfriend isn't trying to annoy me by shoving cookies in my face. That part is a longer story that I'm sure I'll get into when I have the time.
On top of that, I've been stalking youtube.com again. It's where I figured out Okami was boss and through the same page, I've found this game called Mother. I'm still not sure what the whole series is about, but I wanted to play it so bad! Especially Mother 3. Yes, I know it's the third one, but it's cool since the games don't all connect to one another.
The only problem with this though is the game was never released in the United States. You can only get it through fan translations with this thing called an emulator. I had no idea what that was, so I talked to my resident nerd who easily told me that this could be obtained. And he got in for me later that week, along with a mass collection of other games I could play all on my computer.
This isn't helping me to focus almost at all. Every time I get on my computer to try and work on something, I see those folders. I hear them calling to me, telling me that I need to play them, continue quests, and conquer new worlds. I'm still holding strong, but not for much longer. It doesn't help either that I'm celebrating a friend's 21st brithday, going to see the Hunger Games, and helping someone else with their work all while going to my job. I'm spreading thin. Sorry work, I'll get you done, but it might take some time!
So hopefully that ramble was enough to hold you off until next time. Whenever that next time is, I don't know!
